Job Summary
Conduct vitreo-retinal surgery, cataract procedures, glaucoma management, corneal work, and oculoplastics as a full-time Pediatric Ophthalmologist. Deliver primary, specialty, and hospital-based care to patients and families while collaborating with two optometrists. Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for daily clinical documentation. Maintain hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. Complete required background checks and background check authorization forms. Adhere to Northwestern Medicine's equal opportunity hiring guidelines and background check protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Practice includes: Vitreo-retinal Surgeon, Cataract Surgeon/Glaucoma Specialist, Cornea Specialist, Oculoplastics Surgeon, General Ophthalmologist and 2 Optometrists
- Hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital
- Employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group
- EPIC electronic health record system wide
