Diagnose, prevent, or treat disease and injuries while recommending treatments for physical, mental, or functional ailments. Provide quality medical services consistent with professional standards and generally accepted practices, rendering care without regard to ability to pay. Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate coding systems and complete after-hours call coverage equally with other physicians. Participate in quality assurance programs, utilization management, patient education, and non-revenue activities including committees, community outreach, and teaching. Engage in continuing medical education to maintain certification and state licensing board requirements.
