Physician - Palliative

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive palliative care consultations in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and advance care planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and case managers to support transitions of care and coordinate with hospice and community-based services. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical teaching rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary education while contributing to curriculum development. Engage in quality improvement projects, research, and scholarly activities aligned with palliative medicine to advance evidence-based care and patient experience. Join a growing interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across serious illness settings.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Oklahoma
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary settings
Desired Qualifications
- Academic experience in teaching, research, or scholarly activity
- Experience in inpatient consultation services and/or outpatient palliative care
- Interest in program development, innovation, or health equity initiatives
