Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve function and quality of life. Perform interventional pain procedures, including fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided techniques, while prescribing medications and therapies responsibly. Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care, educate patients on treatment options, and maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold high clinical standards in this primarily outpatient practice with minimal hospital responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or a related specialty
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology, pain management, or related specialty
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region
- Proven experience in managing spine, pain, and neurological conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Knowledge of current medical technologies and treatment protocols in pain and neuro care
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Pain Management or Interventional Spine
- Experience in an outpatient pain management practice
- Experience performing fluoroscopic or ultrasound-guided procedures
- Familiarity with modern electronic health record systems
