Job Summary
Manage approximately 24-28 pre-and post-op patients on clinic days, performing surgical procedures specializing in joint reconstruction with access to ROSA robots. Design and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing preoperative and postoperative care, rehabilitation, and patient education. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic care, maintain accurate medical records documenting progress and outcomes, and utilize EPIC EMR in all practice settings. Participate in monthly total joint committee meetings and provide light practice call coverage via phone-based rotations shared among providers. Occasionally mentor family medicine residents during their rotations while providing care at both the main orthopedic clinic and hospital campus.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with a focus on Total Joint Reconstruction.
- Current and unrestricted medical license.
- Demonstrated excellence in total joint reconstructive surgery through clinical experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Collaborative and pleasant attitude with the ability to foster patient trust and understanding.
- Prefer 2+ years of experience but new graduates will be considered.
