Job Summary
Ophthalmologist provides direct patient care for eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy; performs cataract surgery and injections, and laser therapy. Admin duties include overseeing the Ophthalmology Clinic operations, supervising residents, maintaining electronic medical records, and participating in process improvement/quality assurance and Medical Staff activities. Education duties include instructing ophthalmology residents. Benefits include salary range ($300k–$350k), sign-on/relo incentives, education debt reduction, a comprehensive benefits package, and a work schedule of M-F with occasional Saturdays. Licensure required: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US state or territory; CME possible with board certification; malpractice tail coverage provided.
