Job Summary
Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology physician to join Sutter Medical Group Hematology Oncology Division in Northern California. BE/BC Bone Marrow Transplant Oncologist sought to practice full spectrum hematology or to specialize in malignant/classical hematology with opportunities for clinical research through SIMR, robust support staff, and a FACT-accredited BMT program (autologous, allogeneic, and marrow harvest). The role supports teaching residents and collaborates within a large integrated care network across multiple sites, with accessible patient populations and a commitment to work-life balance and high-quality care. Compensation includes sign-on bonus up to $20,000, relocation assistance up to $20,000, comprehensive benefits, and a strong retirement and CME package. EPIC-based technology and a multi-site infrastructure enable clinical practice across the Sacramento region, including Midtown Sacramento, with potential for involvement in resident education through the Sutter Health Family Medicine Residency Program.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC Bone Marrow Transplant Oncologist
- Board certified/Board eligible
- Fellowship in Cellular Therapy Program (preferred)
- Ability to practice full spectrum hematology or specialization in malignant or classical hematology
- Experience in cellular therapies and related technologies
- Ability to teach residents (Sutter Health Family Medicine Residency Program)
