Physician Office Nurse

Triage patient calls, coordinate communication between patients and providers, and assist with examinations and office-based procedures in an outpatient oncology setting. Administer treatments and medications, obtain vital signs and medication lists, and educate patients and families on procedures and preparation. Process lab work, make appointments, submit charges, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in the EMR while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Assess clinical calls to determine acuity, maintain smooth workflow between providers and patients, and participate in orientation of new staff.
