Job Summary
Conduct obstetric and gynecologic care or full-spectrum family medicine including pediatrics and procedures at a 53-bed rural hospital serving an underserved population. Manage 20-25 monthly deliveries with low acuity, utilizing robotic-assisted surgery capabilities and maintaining clinical skills through monthly rotations at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento. Participate in graduate medical education teaching with OB/GYN and family medicine residents. Complete a call schedule of 10 days monthly (Tuesday-Thursday weekdays and Friday-Monday weekends) with a 1:3 ratio. Join a collaborative team in Jackson, CA, one hour from Sacramento.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified/Board eligible
- OB/GYN
- Family Medicine Obstetrician
- Weekday call: Tuesday-Thursday, two weeks per month (6 weekdays total)
- Weekend call: Friday-Monday, one weekend per month (4 weekend days total)
- 10 total call days per month
- 1:3 call ratio
- Rotate at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento 1-2 days per month
- Maintain clinical OB skills
