Job Summary
Provide OB/GYN clinical care at Evans Army Community Hospital for military families; diagnose and treat the full range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions; perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections; conduct prenatal care and IUD placements; participate in hospital and outpatient procedures; ensure compliance with Army Regulation 40-501 and MTF standards; maintain ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications; hold an unrestricted US medical license and board certification; contract staffing with full-time, on-site responsibilities including rotating on-call duties; support from a dedicated representative for contract services.
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Education: Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD/DO) or equivalent for OB/GYN
- Board Certification by ABOG or ACOOG or equivalent
- Unrestricted medical license in US jurisdictions listed
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- ECFMG or 5th Pathway for foreign medical graduates
- Experience: at least two years OB/GYN post-residency or at least one year in civilian/military hospital staff within last six years
- Ability to obtain clinical privileges at MTF
- Experience performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- IUD placement and routine obstetric/gynecologic procedures
- Proficiency with outpatient and inpatient documentation and ICD-9 coding
- On-call coverage required
