Job Summary
Physician - OBGYN split position with 0.6 clinical in the office and 0.4 hospitalist duties at Ascension St. Vincent Eagle Highlands. The OB Physician/Hospitalist will manage labor up to delivery as requested by generalists, provide urgent postpartum care, care for unassigned OB patients in the unit or ED, triage patients in the unit unless directly admitted, perform cesarean deliveries when necessary, and perform circumcisions. Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults and actions as requested. The facility is Level IV maternity/NICU with 24-hour OB anesthesia. Outpatient office hours as needed. Located in Indiana with a growing suburban market and mostly private payer mix.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
