Job Summary
Board-Certified OB/GYN sought for rural Ascension Medical Group practice in Winchester, IN. Join 1 OB/GYN and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife with opportunity to grow; provide services at St. Vincent Randolph as needed. Level 1 nursery with ~225 deliveries/year and average outpatient volume of 15–18 patients/day. MD has one dedicated surgery day per week; midwife handles 1st call 3 days/week with 1 weekend per month; physicians share remaining calls. Practice located in same building as Family Practitioners; coverage at a Critical Access Hospital. Sunrise EMR; affiliated with Ascension St. Vincent Medical Group, the nation’s largest Catholic health system. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and parish-aligned mission-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- MD or DO physician licensed to practice in Indiana or able to obtain licensure
- Experience in rural hospital settings preferred
- Ability to cover calls with midwife back-up
- Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric patients and level 1 nursery operations
- Ability to work within a Catholic health system
- EMR experience (Sunrise)
