Job Summary
Diagnose and treat patients by obtaining histories, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care plans. Provide both preventative and acute care while educating patients on self-management, therapeutic regimens, and wellness. Prescribe medications, document progress in the Electronic Medical Record, and monitor patient outcomes. Lead the clinical team by supervising nurses, medical assistants, and technologists, while also mentoring medical students, physician extenders, and nursing interns. Share night and weekend call coverage with colleagues and ensure HIPAA compliance. Meet quality benchmarks set by Population Health, payors, and state agencies. Build a patient population base to generate revenue. Fluent in Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO Graduate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Medicine
- NYS Licensure

- Post graduate experience in a group practice or group setting
- Experience in OB/GYN
- Experience in GYN advanced laparoscopic surgery
- Fluent in Spanish
