Physician - OB/GYN

Provide health care to patients including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative or acute care as team leader. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, make diagnoses, and order laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Evaluate procedure results, develop patient care plans, and provide education on self-management and therapeutic regimens. Prescribe medications, document exams and progress notes in the Electronic Medical Record, and collect patient outcome data. Ensure HIPAA compliance and oversee conduct of clinical office staff, medical students, and physician extenders. Meet quality benchmarks established by Population Health, payors, and NYS DOH. Share night and weekend call coverage with other physicians. Build a patient population base to generate revenue.
