Physician - OB/GYN

Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist needed to join an active private-office practice supported by Stony Brook Medicine. The physician will lead a clinical team in diagnosing and treating patients, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, developing plans of care, educating patients, prescribing medications, and documenting in the Electronic Medical Record. Responsibilities include sharing night and weekend call coverage with other physicians, ensuring HIPAA compliance, supervising clinical staff, meeting quality benchmarks, and building a patient base to cover salary and expenses. On-call is 1 in 3 with a 4-day work week every other week, and a competitive benefits package is offered. Spanish language skills are preferred. Salary range: $250,000–$300,000 annually.
