Job Summary
Provide 24-hour in-house physician coverage for obstetrics and inpatient/emergent gynecology patients within Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital's integrated practice model. Manage care across both office-based gynecologic services and hospital-based hospitalist duties, ensuring patient safety through a unified approach to wellness, prenatal obstetrics, complex conditions, and elective surgical needs. This full-time clinical FTE role supports the hospital's expansion to 210 total beds, including 168 inpatient beds, 24 ICU beds, and 18 postpartum beds, while utilizing expanded diagnostic imaging capabilities in the Emergency Department.
