Job Summary
The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a non-invasive cardiologist for a faculty position, with titles available from Assistant Professor to Professor. The role involves providing exceptional patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and engaging in clinical research. Candidates are required to have an MD or DO degree and be board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease, along with additional certifications in relevant imaging modalities. Travel to various worksites may be required as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for state medical license
- Board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease
- Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI
