Job Summary
Conduct new and established patient care Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with an average of 25 adult/geriatric patients daily. Perform and read echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear studies, while managing cardiac MRI and CTA imaging. Share weekend and evening call rotations with other cardiology providers, including one weekday night shift (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and one weekend shift (Friday 5:00 PM through Sunday 7:00 AM) every fifth week. Utilize fully integrated Epic EMR with DAX A/I ambient charting and MyChart for telemedicine services. Provide teaching opportunities to rotating residents and medical students.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a U.S.-Based Residency Program
- Must be Fellowship Trained in Cardiology
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM
- Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Current unrestricted Virginia license or eligible for Virginia licensure
- Experience required: Echo, Stress and Nuclear testing and reading studies
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer 1 to 3 years of experience
- Prefer Imaging Fellowship (not required)
