Job Summary
Overnight admissions coverage at Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and Advanced Practice Providers to manage acute and chronic conditions. Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and case reviews while mentoring medical residents and students. Maintain patient safety and efficiency through direct clinical oversight during night shifts. This role includes an excellent schedule of 155 shifts per year with a variable rotation. Candidates must hold a Michigan MD/DO license and a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- License – Michigan MD/DO
- BE/BC Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (with demonstrated strong inpatient experience)
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
