Job Summary
Perform the full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures; provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up care; interpret advanced imaging including MRI, CT, and angiography; collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, trauma teams, and other specialties; participate in trauma and spine call aligned with a 7-on/7-off schedule; deliver patient-centered, high-quality, evidence-based surgical care; opportunities for academic involvement and teaching within Trinity Health Grand Rapids Neurosurgery Program.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or able to obtain board certification in neurosurgery
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with MD/DO degree
- Eligibility for Medical staff privileges at Grand Rapids hospital
- Commitment to academic involvement and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Be BE/BC Neurosurgeon with current credentials and specialty training in cranial and spinal neurosurgery
