Physician – Neurology Specialist– Cooperstown, NY

Neurology physician sought to join an established academic-neurology group in upstate New York. The role focuses on building a subspecialized practice in Neuromuscular, Seizure/Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, or Headache with opportunities for an academic appointment and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students. Expect an anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology (at least 50% specialty) with most work in-person outpatient care and potential for tele-neurology. Inpatient and outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester; very limited call (2-4 days/month). EMR-EPIC experience expected. Salary range $320,000–$400,000 with incentive plan potential and sign-on bonus up to $150,000 plus residency/fellowship stipend. Visa sponsorship available (J-1 & H1B).
