Job Summary
Neuro-Ophthalmologist sought to join Trinity Health Medical Group’s Hauenstein Neurosciences Team in Grand Rapids, MI. The full-time role involves providing comprehensive neuro-ophthalmological and medical evaluation of diseases affecting visual pathways and eye movement control, performing diagnostic testing (visual acuity, visual field testing, pupillary reactivity, color perception, ocular alignment, OCT), and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team (RN, neuro-ophthalmology technicians, MSW, patient support coordinator, PT, OT, vestibular rehab). The practice participates in MS Care and may include General Neurology visits as the role evolves. Eligible candidates are board-certified or board-eligible with a two-year pathway to certification; Michigan licensure and DEA license are required, along with BLS recertification. Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Neuro-Ophthalmology (or board eligible with plan to become board certified within 2 years)
- State of Michigan medical license at time of employment
- DEA license
- BLS certification with recertification requirements
