Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical services for patients in practice and hospital settings, including history and physical examinations, routine health maintenance, and evaluation of patient needs. Initiate treatment through prescriptions, diagnostic tests, and procedures while managing treatment programs based on assessed requirements. Review lab results to plan actions and provide regular communication with referring physicians, patients, and families. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and wellness habit teaching. Collaborate with nurses, psychologists, and external agencies to coordinate care and family counseling. Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety policies and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty
- MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
