Job Summary
Conduct non-treating PM&R independent medical assessments for veterans, review medical records, and complete VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online portal. Assess up to four veterans daily, submit DBQs within 24 hours of assessments, and schedule 1 day per month or 2 half days every other week. Roles emphasize objective assessment and digital documentation in support of veterans' disability evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered
