Palliative Care Physician position at Penrose Hospital (Colorado Springs, CO) focusing on comprehensive symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and supportive care for patients with serious illness. Required Qualifications
- Doctorate MD or DO required
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state
- Strongly recommend successful completion of a palliative care fellowship (physicians with pain management/anesthesia background may be considered)
