Job Summary
Physician-led multispecialty cancer program seeking an MD/DO to join as Medical Oncology/Hematology physician. The role supports a full-spectrum cancer care model with multidisciplinary tumor boards, clinical trials, and telemedicine, across Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and Ontario with a 4-day work week option and a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week. The position requires board-certified status (or certification within 3 years) following an ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship, Idaho and Oregon medical licensure, DEA/controlled-substance registration, and relocation/sign-on benefits. Visa candidates are considered. The practice is part of a 650+ provider multispecialty group with in-house nurse navigators, genetics counseling, nutrition, and other support services; opportunities include involvement in innovative programs, inpatient care, and a robust clinical trials portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship
- Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
- Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa, SARMC - Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
