Job Summary
Provide health care to patients including diagnosis and treatment as team leader. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, make diagnoses, and order laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Evaluate procedure results, provide preventative and acute care, and develop individualized patient plans of care. Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens, promote wellness, and document exams in the Electronic Medical Record. Share night and weekend call coverage with other physicians while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Lead clinical office staff and supervise shadowing medical students and nursing interns. Meet quality benchmarks established by Population Health, payors, and CMS while building a patient population base to cover salary and expenses. Join an active practice of five full-time board-certified OB/GYNs within Stony Brook Community Medical, PC in Suffolk County.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO Graduate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Medicine
- NYS Licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Post graduate experience in a group practice or group setting
- Experience in OB/GYN
- Experience in GYN advanced laparoscopic surgery
