Job Summary
Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician needed for locum tenens support with 24-hour call shifts and occasional clinic coverage. Responsibilities include obstetrics care, emergency room consults, and collaboration with CNMs. Credentialing timeframe ~45-60 days. EMR to be determined. AMN Healthcare handles malpractice insurance and arranges travel, lodging, and transportation. Location: Faribault, MN. AMN positions support providers with a dedicated team while enabling providers to deliver obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital/clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent
- Board-eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN
- OB/GYN physician credentialing requirements met (45-60 days)
- Experience collaborating with Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs)
- Locum tenens and hospital-based obstetrics/gynecology experience preferred
- Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage and ER consults
- Travel, lodging, rentals and transportation arranged by AMN Healthcare
