Job Summary
Obstetrics Hospitalist physician role for locum tenens coverage. Responsibilities include providing obstetric and gynecologic care on the L&D floor, with night coverage from 7pm to 7am alongside midwives and PAs. Must hold BLS, PALS, and ACLS, and credentialing is typically completed within ~30 days. EMR system is Epic. Provider will be supported by 3 PAs and midwives; travel, lodging, and malpractice arrangements are managed by AMN Healthcare as part of the locum arrangement. Interstates Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) consideration and Michigan license preferred. Start ASAP. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree
- Board certification in OB/GYN (implied by physician specialty)
- Active medical license in at least one US jurisdiction (Michigan preferred)
- BLS
- PALS
- ACLS
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) acceptable, Michigan license preferred
- Epic EMR experience or proficiency with major EMR systems
