Job Summary
Physician / Medical Director needed for part-time on-site medical care at the Orleans County Jail in Albion, NY. Flexible 6 hours/week with Monday–Friday hours. Salary negotiable; rate range $130-$170/hour. Company-paid liability insurance (including tail), PTO/Sick leave, licensure reimbursement, and more. Requires medical degree, NY licensure, board status, DEA, BLS, and driver’s license. Preferred training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Correctional Medicine, and/or Urgent Care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Maintain current DEA number and eligible to prescribe medications in New York state
- Maintain active BLS (i.e., CPR) certification
- Maintain current Driver’s License
