Physician/Medical Director of Primary Care

Physician/Medical Director of Primary Care at the University of Maryland College Park campus seeks an MD or DO to lead the primary care department. The role combines direct clinical care with 10-20% protected time for leadership/administrative tasks, supervising a multidisciplinary team, and collaborating with psychiatry and substance-use services. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary and acute care to students, faculty, and staff, maintaining EMRs, coordinating with laboratory/radiology/pharmacy/physical therapy, cross-consultation with specialties, and participating in committees to support an integrated, student-centered care model.
