Job Summary
Urgent Care physician (MD/DO) to join SSM Health in O'Fallon, MO. Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications and therapies, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Direct patient contact in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting with 8am–8pm schedule and 15–20 minute visit cadence; flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Family Medicine
- Urgent Care experience preferred
- ability to provide care across all ages
- clinical skills including history, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- ability to educate patients and families
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays
