Physician - MD/DO - Orthopedic Surgeon

Board-certified or board-eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon sought to join SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Shawnee to build a thriving practice in a physician-friendly community. Full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule, five ORs, OR time from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and relatively light call (about 7 days/month). Practice mix approximately 80% outpatient and 20% surgical, with clinic volume up to 20+ patients per day and an estimated 5–7 procedures weekly as the practice grows. Requires versatility across fractures, knees, elbows, emergency department consults, and some joint replacement; sports medicine fellowship-trained surgeons are a plus. Standalone orthopedic clinic located across from the hospital with on-site X-ray and access to two physical therapy clinics. New graduates encouraged to apply.
