Job Summary
Conduct in-home health evaluations for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and certain commercial plan members. Perform in-home visits focusing on overall health, identify barriers to care, and complete patient-specific assessments using provided forms. No prescriptions or lab orders; discussions and referrals as appropriate. Flexible shifts (Mon-Sun) with option for short- or long-term engagement as an independent contractor. States may require a medical license; in some cases Medicaid licensure or enrollment assistance is provided. Competitive pay with weekly earnings potential and enhancements via market multipliers and pay-per-test opportunities; travel support (airfare, hotel, rental car) and malpractice coverage offered where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- State medical license required (or willingness to enroll)
- Contractor/1099 status
- Experience with in-home health evaluations preferred
- Medicaid license or willingness to enroll preferred
- Able to conduct in-home assessments and physical evaluations without prescribing medications or ordering labs
