Job Summary
Outpatient Family Medicine physician needed to provide full-spectrum care in a rural Illinois setting. Role focuses on outpatient clinics with no hospital call, EPIC EHR documentation, and a flexible 4- or 5-day workweek. Responsibilities include comprehensive family medicine across minor procedures, women's health, Medicare wellness visits, DOT physicals, school and sports physicals, well-child visits, and immunizations. Compensation includes a 3-year salary guarantee with productivity incentives and potential student loan forgiveness options through PSLF/Illinois NHSC. On-site diagnostic services and a robust benefits package (CME stipend, generous PTO, retirement benefits) accompany the opportunity at Washington County Hospital managed by SSM Health. Location is in Washington County, Illinois, with a strong rural-health focus and integration within SSM Health’s mission. Applicant will operate within 100% outpatient scope, utilizing EPIC and contributing to a patient-centered healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Family Medicine specialty
- board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine
- license to practice medicine in IL or ability to obtain medical license in IL
