Job Summary
Lead the development of the liver donor liver transplant program as Medical Director of Living Donor Transplant. The Division of Hepatology includes a team of transplant hepatologists engaged in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. Role encompasses leadership in program growth, teaching, and collaboration within a premier San Francisco hospital system; requires BC/BE in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, CA medical license eligibility, and preferred 3-5 years of living donor transplant experience. The program has a history of solid organ transplantation, active clinical trials, and NIH-funded studies, with opportunities in teaching and research, mentorship, and leadership within SWBMG/SPMF.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
- Active or eligible for California Medical License
- 3-5 years of experience with living donor liver transplant preferred
