Job Summary
Lead clinical performance for a pod team by supervising APPs and physicians, conducting chart audits, and performing complex patient visits. Collaborate with community health workers, nurses, and care managers to drive HEDIS quality metrics and panel reviews. Manage clinical education, resolve patient complaints, and oversee discipline actions and performance reviews for direct reports. Partner with the Regional Medical Director to identify care improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with state regulations. Work with Market Managers and office staff to optimize pod productivity and patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- Active CPR Certification
- Unrestricted DEA
- Completion of an accredited Residency Program
- Unrestricted Medical License
- Board certification is required for all newly hired or promoted on or after January 1, 2026; must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with organizational and applicable regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Physician collaborating with Advance Practice Providers
- Experience in Geriatrics or complex patients
