Job Summary
Lead the clinical performance of a physician pod team, managing diagnostic accuracy, documentation, quality metrics, and provider productivity. Supervise assigned APPs and physicians on-site, conducting quarterly ride-alongs, complex patient visits, and monthly chart audits. Collaborate with community health workers, nurses, and care managers to build team culture, lead high-risk huddles, and resolve patient complaints. Review quality performance (HEDIS), clinician capacity, and panel reviews to drive improvement, while signing orders, managing discipline actions, and assisting with compliance. Work with the Regional Medical Director to identify care improvement opportunities and ensure EMR efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- Active CPR Certification
- Unrestricted DEA
- Completion of an accredited Residency Program
- Unrestricted Medical License
- Board certification is required for all newly hired or promoted on or after January 1, 2026; must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with organizational and applicable regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Physician collaborating with Advance Practice Providers
- Experience in Geriatrics or complex patients
