Job Summary
Utilize minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat disease while consulting with physicians, nurses, patients, and families regarding treatment risks and precautions. Refer cases to specialists as indicated, maintain continuity of care, and provide medical direction to healthcare staff by assisting in developing education and training programs. Maintain patient records according to hospital policies, participate in committees, and provide call coverage. Remain a member of the active staff of hospitals and handle frequent travel to worksites in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
