Job Summary
Conduct coronary angioplasty, stent placement, and heart catheterizations in a fully equipped cardiac cath lab, with clinic coverage for 20–25 patients daily and an annual case volume of approximately 500. Perform pacemaker insertions, generator changes, and stress test/echocardiogram readings while managing shared call coverage. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, utilizing GEMMS One and Cerner EMR systems. Join the cardiology team at CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, where the hospital serves as the primary medical center for Otero County and connects patients to a broader network of facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Interventional Cardiologist
- Board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist
- Unrestricted New Mexico Medical License
- Eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology
