Job Summary
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for adult patients. Prescribe medications, administer immunizations, and offer health and wellness advice covering diet, physical activity, and disease prevention. Monitor patient progress, re-evaluate treatments, and refer patients to specialists or relevant care components as needed. Direct nursing and support staff activities while adhering to departmental policies, quality improvement objectives, and safety standards. Manage daily operations of specific medical programs or patient care units and participate in health promotion and prevention programs. Requires current Colorado license, DEA certification, and board eligibility in a specified medical specialty. Salary ranges from $275,000 to $375,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty
- Degree from an accredited program
- Professional licensure - M.D. or D.O.
- Current Colorado license in good standing
- Federal DEA certification
- Medical Specialty license or certification
- Board certified or Board eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff office credentialing and privileges
