Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and order diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide preventive care with health education for patients and families. Maintain accurate patient records and participate in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advancements. This physician role fosters long-term relationships within the community while contributing to improved quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal and/or Family Medicine, or eligibility for certification
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- strong clinical assessment abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills
- ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an Internal Medicine practice, Family Medicine practice or Primary Care setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
