Job Summary
Internal Medicine physician to examine adult patients 18+ in a multi-specialty clinic. Responsibilities include ordering medically necessary tests, performing follow-up visits, placing referrals to specialists, interpreting basic medical tests and imaging for care planning, and collaborating with sub-specialists within the Kelsey-Seybold system. EPIC electronic health record is used for patient care and collaboration across the system. Work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients; some call groups may include nocturnists, but overnight stays are not typically required.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD, DO)
- Accredited Residency training
- Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
