Job Summary
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions for an outpatient panel of patients across the lifespan in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center setting. Emphasize preventive care, coordinate specialty services when needed, and work within an interdisciplinary team to improve access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved community. Reduce the need for patients to travel outside the region for essential medical services. This role offers excellent work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and no hospital call.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of accredited medical school (MD Degree Required)
- Completion of accredited Internal or Family Medicine Residency Program
- Current, unrestricted California physician and surgeon license
- Current DEA registration
- Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Prior to employment, candidates must possess: Current, unrestricted California physician and surgeon license
- Prior to employment, candidates must possess: Current DEA registration
- Prior to employment, candidates must possess: Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate)
