Job Summary
Join Banner University Medical Center Phoenix as a Physician-Infectious Disease to support the transplant ID program. Responsibilities span clinical inpatient consultations and outpatient transplant care, participate in committee selection of transplant candidates, develop standardized care protocols, lead quality improvement projects, create a dedicated transplant ID research agenda, design studies focused on immunocompromised patients, and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in transplant ID annually. No research funding is required. The division emphasizes academic collaboration, teaching, and patient care within a large tertiary center.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certified/eligible - Infectious Disease & Transplant Infectious Disease
- At least 3 years Transplant ID practice experience
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
