Job Summary
Conduct clinical, programmatic, teaching, quality improvement, and research duties within the growing transplant ID program. Assist with inpatient consultations, outpatient encounters, and patient selection for transplant in committee meetings. Help create protocols for standardizing transplant patient care and establish quality improvement projects. Design clinical research studies focusing on immunocompromised patients and create a research agenda. Educate students, residents, and fellows annually. No research funding necessary. This role supports the strategic expansion of transplant services at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix. The physician will work in a fast-paced, changing environment as part of an academic model partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certified/eligible - Infectious Disease & Transplant Infectious Disease
- At least 3 years Transplant ID practice experience
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
