PHYSICIAN/HOSPITALIST- MEDICAL SERVICES - FULL TIME

Provide overall leadership and oversight for all activities on the unit, working in collaboration with nurses and staff to effectively deploy resources and manage patients. Supervise all clinical care for unassigned patients in labor & delivery, including cesarean sections, spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, antenatal and postpartum care, delivering high quality evidence based obstetric care. Work collaboratively with all other OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs nurses and staff. Work with service line leaders toward continuous improvement by participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives, helping educate staff, and guiding patient safety and satisfaction. Work a combination of 13, 12-hour day and night shifts throughout the month with flexible opportunities in FTE status.
