Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity (locum tenens) in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include handling general cardiac surgery cases with open and endoscopic approaches, including coronary artery bypass grafting on-pump, with 24-hour call coverage and 1-2 weekends per month. Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days. EMR: Epic. Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery and ACLS required. AMN Healthcare offers malpractice insurance arrangements and manages travel, lodging, and transportation for contractor providers.
