Job Summary
Physician-Hepatology role focusing on transplant hepatology within an academic GI/Hepatology program. Provide transplant care for end-stage liver disease, manage pre- and post-transplant care, operate advanced liver disease services, and participate in education/research with residents, fellows, and medical students. Involves teaching, departmental presentations, and opportunities for clinical research training; responsibilities include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsies. BC/BE hepatology and GI transplant fellowship training required; AZ medical license or eligibility expected. Location in Avondale, AZ; part of Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- AZ medical license (or eligible to obtain)
- BC/BE Hepatology
- Training in GI and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship required
