Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology physician sought for Grand Rapids practice with a comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer program supported by advanced resources and affiliations. Role focuses on providing direct patient care with opportunities to concentrate in hematology or solid tumor care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in teaching, mentoring, and quality-improvement initiatives, and utilizing Epic/MyChart in patient documentation; includes involvement in clinical trials, infusion services, and genetic/care-management support.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship training required
- Board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or board eligible and will become board certified within five years following Start Date
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Epic EMR documentation
- Duties include providing direct patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, teaching and mentoring, quality improvement initiatives, and community health involvement
